In the theoretical part the following content is covered:

ISO/OSI model
Network structures and calculations
Necessary fundamentals about the PROFINET and Ethernet-APL technology for a successful PROFINET deployment, etc.

In the practical part the following content is covered:

Setup and configuration of a PROFINET network
Device integration and diagnostic handling in current PLC and DCS systems (e.g. Siemens PC S7, Emerson DeltaV, and others)
Using the latest tools and troubleshooting methods, etc.

Doelstellingen

At the end of the course you will know about the features of the PROFINET technology and the PA profiles, network design of 100BaseTX and Ethernet-APL. You will also be able to use troubleshooting tools and methods for maintenance.
