Saving time with Memosens technology

Simple

Memosens sensors are able to store sensor and process-specific data in the sensor heads and transfer it digitally to the transmitter - simplifying your daily work:

  • The measuring system automatically recognizes the sensor when it is connected via the easy-to-use bayonet lock.
  • Onsite calibration is not necessary, you simply swap the sensors in the measuring point.
  • You do not need to bring your cleaning and calibration equipment to the measurement location.
  • If a sensor exchange becomes necessary during night shifts or weekends, you do not have to contact your analysis expert. Plant operators can easily do the job.
  • The calibration can be done in the comfort of a laboratory which benefits your analytical experts and the precision of the calibration.

With Memosens, the sensor can be calibrated in the laboratory and be replaced very easily in the plant.

Safe

Dramatic increase in reliability and availability of the measuring point

  • Memosens technology digitizes the measured signal in the sensor and transmits it via a completely potted, non-contact connection. Your measurements become fully resistant to environmental influences such as moisture, corrosion or salt bridges.
  • You could plug in your sensor even under water.
  • Galvanic isolation of sensor and transmitter eliminates interference signals.
  • If the measurement signal is interrupted, the transmitter immediately displays an automatic error message thanks to the digital transmission.
  • Memosens sensors offer full compliance and compatibility with requirements in hazardous areas.

Safety for plant operators

Thanks to a quick sensor exchange on-site, plant operators are exposed to uncomfortable conditions only for a short period of time.

  • Harsh weather conditions in outside installations
  • Potentially toxic environments in leaching processes
  • Hot plant areas due to high-temperature processes
  • Positions at great heights, e.g. big storage or cooling towers

Cost-efficient

The digital Memosens technology minimizes your operating costs in many relevant aspects.

  • Reduced downtime: Quick swapping of pre-calibrated sensors in the process optimizes process uptime increasing your yield.
  • Longer sensor lifetime: Regenerating sensors in the laboratory increases their lifetime by up to 30% and reduces your MRO costs.
  • Personnel expenses: There is no need for 24/7 availability PAT experts in your plant.
  • Savings on chemicals: Since sensor calibration is performed under optimum conditions, processes can be run at tighter limits.

Future-oriented

Maintenance strategies on the next level

Memosens sensors are able to save extensive sensor, calibration and load data such as temperatures, operating hours, extreme measured values, CIP and SIP cycles, etc.

Combined with the Heartbeat Technology option, you have even more information on the measuring point at hand such as the field device health, connection check from sensor to transmitter or monitoring of the sensors' power supply.

All these data can be easily transferred to your PCS, for example via Ethernet IP. They provide a perfect basis for you to develop intelligent maintenance strategies.

Ready for IIoT connectivity

Especially in the water monitoring business, many measuring points are situated in remote locations. To serve these locations, Memosens data can be transferred to our Netilion ecosystem and be enriched with additional data such as GPS coordinates of the measuring point. Netilion visualizes the measurement and geographic data in clearly arranged dashboards giving you a comprehensive remote overview of all your measurements. It also alerts you if any limits are exceeded enabling you to respond quickly to an unexpected event.

The easiest way to establish cloud connectivity for Memosens measuring points, is the integrated Liquiline Edge Module. It is available as an option or a retrofit product for the Liquiline multiparameter transmitter platform.

Comprehensive

Memosens sensors with plug-in head are available for pH, ORP, dissolved oxygen, conductivity and disinfection measurements. They deliver precise, digital measured values increasing your product yield and ensuring consistently high process quality. Our fixed-cable sensors also feature Memosens technology and offer additional parameters such as turbidity, nitrate, SAC, etc.
